Early Life

Heidi Rojas is a first generation American raised in Chicago, IL by a Cuban father and a Guatemalan mother. Heidi showed a strong interest in singing, dancing and acting at a very early age. At eight years old, she wrote her first song and began singing at her local church. She went on to record several of her songs and tour the Midwest as an independent pop artist. Heidi graduated from Baylor University in 2008 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing for Music & Entertainment. She was a member of the Baylor University Guerilla Comedy Improv Troup and was a hip hop and jazz dance instructor before she moved to Nashville, TN to pursue her career in the music industry.

Music Career

Heidi started her music career at Warner Bros. Records/Word Entertainment in Nashville, TN where she was a Merchandise & Branding Sales Coordinator. She began her pop/soul artist career soon after, releasing an EP in 2010 that she collaborated on with Grammy Award winning blues artist Jonny Lang, guitar sensation Tyler Bryant, and producer/DJ Seth Jones. She moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2010 to further her songwriting career. She has since grown to become a dynamic songwriter in both English and Latin markets. Her music has been featured on televisions shows and movies including American Idol, The Voice, Glee, Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, The View, Good Morning America, Pitch Perfect 3, Snatched, among others. She has also written and recorded commercial jingles for Target and other brands, has vocal produced for several record label artists, recorded many demos for major artists, and sang background vocals on several albums. Additionally, Heidi works with independent artists in various stages of the development process including co-writing, helping develop artists’ sound and image, vocal coaching and vocal production. Heidi is a BMI songwriter and is self-published with her work administered by Big Deal Music. She has a strong position on female empowerment in a predominantly male driven music industry and focuses on writing songs with positive messages.
